Ballet Arts Dance Company (BADCo) is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit production company established in September 1999. Affiliated with Ballet Arts Theatre in Endicott, Tina Christina Price, artistic director, we are now fully embarking on our mission to serve the Greater Broome community. Our mission statement has as its base to "…promote cultural and artistic services to the community, to elevate and promote dance with the emphasis on children…".

The Company’s four major goals are as follows:

  1. Seasonal ballet production – a varied repertoire presented with reasonable ticket prices.
  2. Community service – an emphasis on "giving back" to the children we touch
  3. Pilot arts programs – expanding the boundaries of dance to include other arts organizations
  4. Professional involvement – education and performance with a focus on dance and careers

Ballet Arts Dance Company is in the process of developing its program for the performance year 2001-2002. This year’s calendar plans a minimum of three performances (December, March, and June) with considerations for additional performances.

In performance year 2000-2001, over 3500 people attended BADCo’s produced events. 2000 people attended our annual production of "The Nutcracker" at the Endicott Performing Arts Center (EPAC).

We have worked with EPAC, the Binghamton Youth Symphony Orchestra (BYSO), and local elementary schools to put on either free or inexpensive productions. With the BYSO, we performed for over 2500 additional attendees. In conjunction with EPAC, the Ballet Arts Dance Company helped raise over $5000 to help renovate the historic theater in Endicott.

Words and pictures don’t tell the whole story. Why not attend our upcoming performances:
